Privacy Policy
This is the official Shadowrocket website and manual. This policy explains how information is handled when you visit this site; it does not replace the app’s or App Store’s privacy disclosures.
1. Scope and website features
This site uses static pages to provide authenticity checks, purchase information, and usage guidance. It has no account registration, sign-in, or email subscription forms, and does not ask visitors to provide an email address. You can read the manual without submitting identity or payment details or in-app configuration.
This site does not provide node services or offer, sell, or recommend subscriptions or servers. Import instructions assume that you already have your own subscription or server details. A one-time client purchase is not a service plan; buying the app and obtaining a network service are separate matters.
2. Visit data and analytics
When your browser requests pages, fonts, and images, it sends the network information needed to deliver them to the site’s infrastructure. Service logs may include request paths, visit times, IP addresses, response statuses, browser types, and referring pages. This information is used to keep the site running, diagnose errors, and handle unusual requests.
We use visit analytics to understand page views, referral sources, device categories, and navigation patterns, and to improve the content and usability of the site. The store information page records a click event when you choose to click the App Store button. This event measures use of the link; it does not indicate that a purchase was completed.
Website analytics are not used to access traffic records, subscription details, server passwords, or configuration files within Shadowrocket. Do not include links containing access credentials in this site’s URL parameters.
3. Cookies and browser storage
This site does not use account sign-in sessions. Depending on the analytics configuration in place, visit analytics may use cookies or browser storage to distinguish visits and aggregate usage. Whether data is stored, how long it remains, and its specific name depend on the site’s configuration; check your browser’s site data for details. This policy does not describe all analytics methods as using the same storage practices.
You can view, restrict, or delete this site’s cookies and browser storage in your browser’s site data settings, or disable JavaScript. Restricting these features may affect analytics, menus, or content switching, but the static text remains available to read. Clearing browser data does not remove in-app configuration or App Store purchase records.
4. External App Store links
The only way to get Shadowrocket is through the App Store product page. Apple operates that page. Account verification, payment, purchase records, and refunds after you follow the link are subject to Apple’s terms and privacy policy. This site does not collect payment card details or have access to your purchase history.
External pages may receive information normally sent by your browser with a request. Their operators explain how they handle it. For information about app permissions, in-app data handling, and system requirements, refer to the relevant app information and the App Store listing. Do not infer these details from this website’s analytics disclosures.
5. Data protection and access choices
Visit data should be limited to what is needed to operate the site, resolve issues, and analyze usage, and retained according to the applicable log and analytics settings. Identifiable raw information should not be kept indefinitely. This site does not operate by selling visitors’ personal information, and cannot guarantee that data transmission or storage is risk-free.
Do not include full subscription URLs, passwords, payment receipts, or other access credentials in feedback. For device setup issues, start with the tutorial steps and troubleshooting guidance. Manage browser storage through the privacy settings in the browser you use.
6. Policy updates and further information
If website features, analytics methods, or the scope of information handling change, the relevant terms will be revised on this page and the month at the top will be updated. Significant changes to the purposes of processing or the data involved will be clearly explained here. This policy does not replace any required notice or consent process.
Refer to the current text on this page. If you no longer want website visit records to be generated, stop visiting the site and use your browser settings to clear any saved site data. Service logs and aggregated analytics already generated will not be automatically withdrawn.
